Senior Business Analyst | Product Innovation (Januaty 2018 - April 2020)

CIEE is a leading provider of international exchange and study abroad programs. In recent years, CIEE’s global staff of more than 700 employees supported the exchange of nearly 45,000 participants to 45 different countries each year, generating over $190M in revenue.

  • Spearheaded end-to-end execution of $2M, 16-month Salesforce project within a strict timeframe, managing globally distributed stakeholder groups and deploying to over 200 users in 45 countries. 

  • Activated a new business intelligence and data visualization tool working collaboratively with strategy and business stakeholders, focusing on data hygiene and scaling clean, usable reports and dashboards.

  • Collaborated with leadership and Research team to introduce a new survey platform for features and projects, establishing baseline metrics for end-user adoption, pain points, satisfaction, and technical competency while providing critical information to gauge and evaluate our team’s performance.

  • Documented ‘best practices,’ creating adaptive templates for project proposals, requirements gathering, communication strategies, user testing, and training.


Council on International Educational Exchange (Portland, ME)

Business Analyst, Product Innovation (June 2015 - January 2018)

  • Directly supported the implementation and management of digital products supporting company’s academic, accounting & finance, B2B & B2C sales, digital marketing, facilities management, global operations, HR, and research and strategy teams.

  • Managed the implementation of CIEE’s first online learning management system, collaborating with key stakeholders, leadership and global staff to scale the application from 3 to more than 50 global locations.

  • Designed and implemented ‘IT Request Center’ Salesforce application for our business partners, improving accountability, operational efficiency, prioritization and transparency for all technical feature and project requests.

  • Established CIEE’s first ‘IT Liaison’ working group, identifying and selecting key power users from each department, meeting regularly with them to improve our relationship with these key business partners.

Sr. Operations Coordinator, Institutional Sales (December 2013 - June 2015)

  • Managed all operational needs and technical projects for CIEE’s B2B sales team, responsible for a $115M line of business. 

  • Drove the transition of the team’s implementation of Salesforce, liaising regularly with Product Innovation and translating high-level business requirements into functional specifications.

  • Onboarded new B2B clients, coordinating contract negotiation and execution for SVP of Sales.

  • Directly administered sales membership product, focusing on streamlined communications and process improvements, resulting in a 30% reduction of delinquent payment and a 15% increase in customer retention between 2014 and 2015.

  • Compiled ongoing, detailed analysis of historical, financial, and external data to assess the impact of long and short-term strategic initiatives.


Acumen Fund (New York, NY)

Software Implementation Consultant (2012 - 2015)

Acumen is a global venture capital firm, bridging the scale of market-based investment with the impact of philanthropic foundations. Over the last 20 years, Acumen has invested over $128M in 128 companies across Africa, Latin America, and South Asia. 

  • Advised the implementation of a web-based performance management system. During this time, liaised with Acumen’s Talent Division, oversaw the requisite data migration, designed the organization training, and managed the rollout of the new system and performance review process.

  • Assisted in project planning, development, testing, and training preparation for delivery of the new system to all employees.
